Jeep just shuts down while driving

A similar thing was happening in my 2004 jeep grand cherokee. I would be driving on the freeway and it would just shut off for about 2-3 seconds then fire up again. Or I would be at a red light and it would just shut off and if I turned the key it fired back up no problem with no check engine light. I scanned it anyway and I got a code for the crank position sensor. Swapped that out and haven't had an issue since
