My search for a shorty D100 is over

Now that sits just right. I like it.
Thank you. Again, I sold it in 2020 and it went somewhere deep into NY State. Never heard from the buyer again after he took it. Hopefully he did fix it up like he claimed he was going to.

About 20 years before the green one I had a '72 W100, also a short box. It was actually my daily driver for several years when I lived in NYC. California truck, zero rust. 8 3/4 rear, Dana 44 front. That one had a stock 360 with an NP 445 4 speed. The 445 was a much better driving transmission than the stupid dump truck NP 435 because it had a synchronized first gear. At one point I had a complete NOS 445 that was still strapped to a pallet but eventually sold it at Carlisle. Heaviest transmission ever, must've weighed 300 lbs. Yes, it was NOS....still had cosmoline all over it. Had to have been one of a handful in existence.

The dent in the fender was from a hit and run while it was parked. :BangHead:

Inside. Metal door panels, gas tank behind the seat. Those Mastercraft bucket seats were awesome.

I was super into '70s trucks for a while. Best of the big three '70s "lifestyle" trucks for sure.
