Why do you guys buy heads and then port them? Why not just buy cylinder heads that already flow what your looking for and are cnc done

Because CNC doesn’t mean good.

I’ll take a set of hand ported head by a pro than some off the shelf bullshit CNC porting.

Does the CNC porting match the application?

When TF dropped their heads I said “I hope they make the bare castings available so I can do what I want to them” and the place went wild.

I’d bet my *** I could take a bare set of TF castings and end up with a better port than what they have.

Hot riders always make **** better.
