I went with 6GT for the feeding without tuning mags and I already have a bunch of AICS 308 mags. Also a bit more barrel life over 6 Creed. Also needed a bit more range and speed over my 6ARC (which is a great cartridge). My Uintah bolt action upper on an AR was awesome in SD for prairie dogs.

I have a GA in 308 (FBI HRT rifle). I also have shitty shoulders nowadays and shooting hundreds of rounds a day of that is just too much anymore.

Hah! I feel your pain, literally. I am the happy recipient of Total shoulder replacement (rt side) in second week March. Result of a zillion rounds, plus some weight lifting and perhaps a bit of hockey! Surgeon took one look at the X-ray and said well I am gonna save you some money. Looking at this X-ray we got no need for a MRI, not even close. You got your moneys worth out of that one!
