The crazy windstorm January 7 felled a large cedar tree in my backyard which crushed the garage, the 65 escaped with a minor indentation in hood from branch that penetrated roof of garage, the 66 S in driveway was narrowly missed. Unfortunately it damaged the 68 Ford, but it could have been much worse. Many lost everything in subsequent fire that started in Eaton Canyon. The 65 is a factory Commando 273 with 4-speed, Sure grip and factory AC. The 66 is a Formula S 4-speed also with sure grip and AC.

nightmare fuel!

man, glad you came out mostly unscathed and avoided the subsequent fire(s).

good looking cars! time to get 'em running and out cruising around!

Wow what a bummer with a little good luck mixed in. Sorry about the stang...that one has the nice hood. My dad and I had a 67 with that nice hood. It really makes an improvement over the flat hood. Nice 65!

Glad you and your family are safe!!!

I just got back from there... I'm an insurance adjuster and I was handling the Fire claims in Altadena and Pacific Palisades!!!

From New York Drive on up is where the devastation began... I think they pinpointed that the fire began at a Edison Tower.

I saw quite a few classic cars burnt to the ground!

Once again, glad you and yours are safe!!

If you need a hood or other stuff for the ‘65 come out to the Spring Fling swap meet May 3 & 4.

Sorry about the California Special mustang. Those are neat cars

Wow....that's bad but could have been much worse. I'm glad you and your family are safe. Can you repair the garage or are you going to have to knock it down and start over?
