Been on the road the last few weeks teaching misc instructors blocks. One of the exercises I have the instructor candidate do is set up a business plan (budget) for conducting a class. They are typically staggered at the cost to actually teach a class. And then of course the illusion of doing the same class twice a month and filling it everytime. This week I am training folks to become conceal carry instructors. Once they develop a budget for their class they certainly pause for a minute. Just all the hidden costs they don’t think about, instructors insurance, blue guns, AV equipment, range fees, folding chairs, etc etc.
