Hammerfab Suspension

i'll give him this: the barracuda he did looks really nice. stance is right, rims is right. super clean build. the big block in the bay looks *right* and the attention to detail is spot on.

also, that he went with a splined bar. i dig that.

but everything else? *shrugs*

Yeah to be fair to them it looks like a really clean, well made set up with some nice additions compared to some of the other coil over conversions out there. Using the MII control arms opens up some other possibilities, even if it also introduces the shim set up. But it’s not just a copy of anything currently on the market, so there are legitimate reasons to run that set up vs the other kits on the market. Now, whether it’s worth the risk of running a new system that has little to no track record is a different story.

The advertising/marketing lingo is just what kills me. Selling the shim alignment arrangement as an improvement is a massive stretch. And ignoring that one of the biggest advantages to a torsion bar system is the ride height adjustability is just silly. Like coil over systems are never as easy to change the ride height with. Which just tells me they don’t understand the torsion bar system very well.

they must be dreaming , $9000 , u gotta be kidding ...

You do see that the linked kit is not just the front suspension right? That $9k is the complete front suspension, frame connectors, and a 4 link rear suspension plus a couple other goodies. The front suspension by itself appears to be more like $5k depending on options.
