65 Dart Wagon Conversion to a Sedan Delivery
I kept looking at the much modified console cover with the Ram cupholder and I just didnt like the look. So over the course of several weeks I found an original, unmodified 66 B Body console top, reproduction console aluminum trim and some sheet metal I had laying around and went to work. First construct the bracket that supports the cupholder and install to the cupholder
Then, to hide the mounting bolts, construct a top that will house some toggle switches for future use
I had some blue vinyl left over from redoing some Charger seats. I used it to begin covering the assembly
With the finished results
Then to mask the console cover to paint the black
After adding the new aluminum trim, mounting the finished cupholder to the cover
The overall “look” is much better than my previous look
