440 Source Balance Job
Factory "balance" jobs were virtually no balancing at all... Just grab parts that were at "Spec" and assemble them... Rarely was there ever an issue...
I've heard of guys shooting for .5 grams... There are 28 grams in an ounce, 448 grams in a pound........ What is really required?
As soon as the crank gets up to speed oil begins to get caught in the spinning vortex... How many grams of oil do you suppose & how evenly is it distributed?
The crew at 440 Source works with one engine line, they balance a lot of that same engine, they know what to expect the equipment to say & if it says something else they will likely re-evaluate before blindly doing what the machine says....
I don't see the point of having a shop that probably balances ten Chevies & six Fords to one Mopar altering the balance done by a shop that works on only big block Mopars...
