Converting a TQ to electric choke?
Not sure what the point is of the Mike's kit if the stock well is on the intake. Are the stock choke part NA now?
I ran into a similar problem as the OP, wanted to run a choke on my TQ but with an MP dual plane intake with no choke well. So I built this:
Basically just replicated the mount holes from the 9800 base that the Mopar TQ is missing. It worked well enough, but would have been nice if it was a little stiffer.
Trick is finding the parts to bolt to it. The choke cover was a stroke of luck for me, no idea where you might find one now.
I have been learning Fusion360 recently and I bet it wouldn't be hard to do one up and get SendCutSend to cut and bent up a thicker one.
I am running a Hughes RPM and an Edelbrock carb now, so the parts are all just on the shelf.
