Looks interesting plus it features a four speed Duster that looks very similar to my car!

Seems inspired by Mathew McConaughey’s character in Dazed and Confused, David Wooderson.

“Alright, alright, alright”

That actor was from "lost" he's done some other things. I think he'll be good in this.

Recently he was "Roarke" on Yellowstone. He played a character that was working on a land grab against the Dutton ranch.

Dusters will be the next General Lee!

I've got you beat by almost 30 years...

Looks like it should be an interesting show, let's hope it proves popular enough to stay around for a while.
TV shows that are set in different times must be difficult to plan and execute. All the differences in fashion, cars, vehicles in background, etc.
There was a show Life On Mars where the lead character was a detective that somehow was transported back to 1973. He had to adapt to primitive forms of Police work. The cars were not nearly as prominent as they look like they would be in this one.
It doesn't surprise me at all that NO TV show seem to embrace the 80s and the mostly slow and boring cars from that decade!

Might be a good time to get my 72 ready for sale. I just picked up another pre war car and it’s gonna need some funding.

Ugh. Every time they do something like that, it brings a bunch of people into the fold and they just ruin it. Just wait, every Duster for sale...."It's a classic. I know what I got."

the guy that the rattler to the neck
yellowstone was great till the end .....last couple of episodes sucked

We will see a lot of red Dusters (w. spoiler) for sale if the series makes a second season...

Btw:

'Vehicle' is a great song

I like period pieces and spend most of my time looking at the cars or buildings in the background. I like the old clothing and also the shots of inside of bars and taverns.

I doubt they'll tear up too many Dusters because it's the lead character's car and he's called (at least in the trailer) the "Driver". Looks like there's plenty of other cars getting torn up though.

I'm for anything that makes these old cars more popular. We were at a car show last Saturday and the kids were flocking to this POS Miata right next to us because he had shiny wheels and a fart can out back. Maybe someone later this year will recognize a red Duster with a wing?

Ha my kid wanted a miata cause it can wink at you
Now he wants a e30 bmw ...thank god
He will have to settle for my Porsche 924
For his first car ....

Clapped and rusted out Dusters have been overpriced for quite a while!!!!

Have you followed the Harley market?
When the guys that bought these cars new start dying off and the widows and kids start selling them...They'll get cheap in a hurry. Market flood in 3...2...1...

Us old guys might not all die off at once!!??? :BangHead:
IF I don't sell my old classics before I kick off,,,, the wife can sell them and I will give a chit!
The classic car market for the average car has been sold for quite a while/
BJ, Mecum does not represent the average classic or classic car owner/buyer.
Yes, the classic car market is already beginning to reflect the younger guy that loves the Malease stuff from the 80s, 90s. Go figure!!!!
