W2 or R/T heads?

Easy. W2 all day long, as long as you have line of sight on a good set of heads, know someone knowledgeable who can port them, and understand they require special rocker gear and headers. All this stuff is easy enough to find, most can be bought off the shelf. Gotta pay to play in the W-series head world though.

They don’t take special headers. You van use standard port headers on W2 heads. That’s what I’m going to do. I refuse to use TTI headers. I may eventually buy the headers out of Massachusetts because they make a beautiful header but I’d bet they are 1500 bucks or more now.

I’m not dropping that much cash in a year or two for 20 hp. And you’ll probably never hear me say that again.
