Very true that Red can sneak up on you. I was at my next door neighbor's enjoying it one evening, my hosts were very gracious and ensured that my glass was filled frequently. When it came time to go home, I almost got lost, literally lost, in the 100 or so feet from the front door of their house to the door of my house. But it was still a good time!

The night that I found out my first wife was cheating on me, I drank nearly a full bottle of Glenfiddich that her son had brought back from a trip to Scotland. I kicked her *** out of the house about 1/4 of the way through it.

Sorry to hear about the wife cheating...hopefully the next one stays true to you.

Speaking of Black JW...we had a street party about 7 years ago hosted by our next-door idiot neighbours (since left the area) , and at the end of the day another neighbour and I who had previously not got off on a good footing, had settled our differences, and decided to have a couple of drinks at next-doors house. It was late ...around 10pm, and Wayne and I were going shot for shot of Black out my fresh bottle. The idiot hosting us (blanked his name from my memory now) was trying to keep up with us.
BTW doing shots on Scotch is not a normal practice....lol. Well Wayne and I were 3/4 the way down the bottle, and dickhead was standing there one minute, and the next he just planked.....fell on the floor without any sort of consciousness - just like in the movies. It was as funny as hell, and Wayne and I kept drinking.

About half an hour later, dickheads wife came to see where he was, found him on the floor, woke him up and dragged him to bed. Wayne and I had one more shot and wandered off to our respective homes.
A great night only tainted by the idiot next door. :lol:
