Yeah, it ain't back far. I think only about an inch. But the cross member for the transmission doesn't mate to the body correctly .The new k-frame I have will solve that problem. And the good news is, this car was originally a slant 6 with three on the tree. Clutch pedal and so forth is still in the car. I have a good spare four speed and shifter for it. When I redo the front floor pans I will put a 4-speed floor shifter hump in it...
