Stock 318 heads are more than capable to make 280-300 hp above that mods or better heads are needed.

Since you want a mild driver which is like a 250-280 hp 318 engine.

All you need for that 4bbl, mild cam, 9:1 ish cr, duals, headers be a bonus and a good tune. With decent gears and shift kit should be a fun ride.

Yes I want to rebuild the 318. Right now I have the 4barrel intake and carb and the headers with a true dual flow master exh. I just picked up the gears and I’ll look into the shift kit. I’ve just got a lot of different parts so I was looking for the best bang for my buck if that makes sense. I don’t want to be running from the police or have something my wife can’t drive but I would like to spin the tires and be able to be the first from a light if I want to.
