leaf filter or leaf guard?

We had a local guy come out to do ours. They look something like the leaf filters. He did the seamless gutters and covers for $1800. And we have a 2 story house. He told us the other ones are way over priced. We have had them on for over 4 years and they are great! Don't have to clean them any more. And if we have any problems he will take care of it for free.
