Duster front chin spoiler/ air splitter

it doesnt fit on 73-76

Yeah that's not true. It should bolt to the bottom of the bumper just like it does on the '70-72 cars, @Kegan B 's car shows it pretty well. The Camaro spoilers don't really fit any of these cars, but they're easy enough to make fit. I use a '67 camaro spoiler on my '74 Duster that has '71 Demon bodywork. A heat gun and some imagination and it's not all that hard. Getting it to fit the curved valance is a tougher ask then getting it to fit the bottom of a '73-76 bumper.

That looks good!

I just picked up an aspen super coupe and noticed the front spoiler is mounted to the bottom of the radiator support directing air straight up to the front of the radiator and sideways out to the wheels.

I used to have an Volare Super Coupe, but the body work was all missing. I miss that car.

Do you think the front spoiler could be adapted to fit a Duster?

I'm up in the air on this one. I bought it as a roller for a 6.1 I have. It was such a hassle getting it here I've lost interest. I paid for it in December and finally got it in the middle of February. I've looked at it once since it arrived (for this thread).....If you know anyone....I'm sure it would fit across the lower support but width wise and wheel arch IDK.

Bummer, sucks to hear that. I'd like to jump on that, but don't see a way to make it work.

I looked at some pictures of SC's and it looks like the chin spoiler wraps up into the wheel flairs. My guess is the wheel flairs would be needed as well and I don't expect those would work.

They are unique to SC's. The a43 kit cars are similar but different. the Roadrunners and R/t's are also different. Doing a search on ffmjbo ,there was a guy reproducing fine examples in glass (all 5 pieces) who has since departed. The spoiler only fits with the flairs as it's integral. The car also has a special gas cap. I had this one shipped out of Utah, it wasn't the seller that was an issue it was U-ship . the first driver bailed after the pick up date, the second driver subbed out after not picking up and the 3rd driver (they hired)broke down twice. FWIW the flairs allow a 295 tire. I would think that the R/T,RR kit might fit though with a little mod.

Sorry it was a struggle.

Cool! Hmm...295 square would be sweet. Pretty sure I ran a 235/60R15 square setup on mine and it didn't even have the flairs. A 6.1 in an SC would be sweet, I'd probably do the same thing if I had the space/funds/time.

I saw posts about the guy on FFMJBO but looks like he hasn't been active since '18 so I assumed that was a dead end and was hoping he just went on to better things.

I found the R/T spoiler reproductions in a couple of places, but it didn't seem like it was the same as the SC setup. I could see the R/T spoiler being close, but $300 is a huge gamble and I'm not entirely sure I would like the look. It's all just an idle daydream right now.

The R/T&RR spoiler attaches to the lower rad support contour and ends before the fender. The spats curve under the fender and overlap the spoiler vertically. The SC wheel flairs stop at the forward edge in line with the fender bottom and the spoiler extends outward and attaches horizontally to the bottom. The R/T,RR center piece can be gotten separately. I would think if the contour of the lower rad supports were similar it should work with the spats
