Kind of looks like someone removed the side stripe and took some of the paint off with it.

There should be record of how many, as a percentage of all 74 Dusters, were painted moonstone.
Can't be very many.
Could very well be one of one when you consider 580 with 360 and 4 speed.

It looks like someone may have been prepping it for a paint job. They removed the stripe mechanically and took paint off with it. It was last registered in 94. My brother Jake bought this car and we will be weighing restoration costs to value this week. My vote is to restore the car due to its uniqueness and rarity and the fact that it is a very cool car and I actually love the color. I hit the deck lid with a buffing wheel last night real quick and couldn’t believe the amount of metal in the paint.
