Project El Cheapo 1971 valiant drag car
Hey, you're building MY CAR... LOL!
Mine's a '72 Valiant, 4-door street/strip car 360 Magnum/904 with an 8.75" 3.55 Sure Grip rear, running some 8"-wide B.F. Good'n'rich T/A Drag radials 26-inches tall.
I have a Hughes, very mild cam in mine (214/218 @ .050"-lift; .525" total lift), but with a 750 Holley 3310 and a WATER HEATED (I know, I know... it's off there, now) intake and stock 340 exhust manifolds, it ran 13.35 on a hot (95-degree ) day.
I have since, replaced the intake with a Crosswind (Chinese Air-Gap copy), and TTI headers with a 2.5" TTI exhaust system using DynoMax Super Turbos.
I live in Conway, Arkansas, next door to Oklahoma.

Write me an email sometime; I'm realy curious about your car and your progress.
Do you live anywhere near Salisaw? I have relatives there...
