A leaking intake gasket is a distinct possibility. I had a 340 that was assembled with the wrong intake bolts. It felt and appeared tight but wasn't (because of bolt shoulder). Started blowing blue smoke (particularly on deceleration) soon after a rebuild. The smoke screen would put James Bond to shame. Replaced the intake gasket and bolts - problem solved.
