burning oil

I really can't think of anything but bad rings or intake leaking or crack. The last 2 I doubt it but a 8 month old rebuilt going bad I doubt it too.

It could be bad rings and your compression test looks OK because the oil is sealing the rings.

I am just guessing at this point, thou.
