318 Build-up Questions

The guy that does my milling knows everything that is going into my engine and is correctly calculating everything so that my compression ration comes out to 9.5:1. He is the same guy that I have been using for many many years so I trust that what he tells me that I need will be correct. If I had my choice I would much rather have a set of "X" heads, but again as I mentioned before I am not looking for a pricey build...If I were, there would be a SUPER FRESH 340 sitting in my garage. I am just lookng for a fun, driveable car. Thanks for the advice and I would be interested in hearing more about what I could do to make my build run better and if anyone thinks my choices are/aren't the correct ones.As far as my intake goes I thought about changing that part of my build to a Weiand Stealth... any thoughts on this change??
