O.k., I need your opinions please.....
Hey Guys,
There are a lot of experts here, so again I need some finishing thoughts and honest opinions again. We have a grudge match brewing at work, and a lot of bull talk, and probably some time in March or April we are going to get it on and settle everything. One guy that works for me has an 87 Firebird with a 350, stock heads(so he says) .455 lift cam, 700R4 trans, 2400 stall converter and 3.23 gears. He is a Chevy nut, and thinks he is going to hand me my ***. He says he runs 8.20 in the 1/8th, which is what w'ell be racing. I sold him my 750 Demon DP as well. However I've also heard he only runs nines in the 8th mile and he is not quite honest in his time. Employee 2 however has a pretty serious ride. '03 Cobra, lots of boost, exhaust and the works. I've ridden in his car and it runs really strong. (We thumped another guys LS1 on nitrous). He claims 487 at the rear wheels. However I know he has serious traction issues. He is less of a bullshitter and I tend to believe him more than the Chevy guy. Now my setup:
360 Magnum block bored .030
Eagle 4.00 crank
Eagle I-beam rods
Protru forged pistons

MSD "Ready to Run" Ignition
