The only way to tell for sure is tear it down and have a look. I've rebuilt worse (3 pistons needed to be bored out of the block), but it ain't easy finding any kind of supercharged Lycoming V8 for a 1937 Cord. My guess from one picture; the heads are junk, but you may be able to save the block and crank. Pull the heads, oil pan, and have a look see. Me, I'd start looking for a better core.
