Hold on, your carb stinks for racing, vacuum secondary's are nice to drive but a DP would be much better for going fast. You need a different carb for racing, a Holley DP for sure and the linkage should be switch to 1 to 1, so both primary and secondary opens together. Some 3.91 or 4.10 would help too. If you lose, its because of your gears and carb.
