I was just talking with a friend (fishman) the other day about the price of parts today. He`s looking for grille parts for his 69 Barracuda and finding them really expensive. We laughed at the fact that I`d spent only $400.00 for a 69 Dart GT or $550.00 for a 68 GTS back in the 70`s and now you can hardly find decent parts for less than the cost of what we payed for the entire cars back then.

Longgone, I know exactly what you mean. I paid $600 for the Barracuda in 1976. I bought a 68 GTS 340 after that for $275. Burned oil, and rusty front fenders, but now days it would be worth big bucks even in that shape.
Life was simple back then. I guess you know you're getting old when you look deep in thought, and your sentences start with "I remember when". :scratch: Tim
