Sparky's Swinger
It has begun.Finally got my butt down to the shop and started taking my Swinger apart. Did not want to it till I was ready and have just recently started to get he itch again. No use starting unless your in the mood. I am bagging and labeling, I have started a note book with entries as I take things apart and have started a file on my computer with loads of photos. Think I have things covered as I get back in the flow of things. I am going to work front to back taking everything off the body, then I get the boys over and we will pull the motor. After that it will go up on the hoist so I can further inspect and decide what I need to do to repair the slightly cheezy drivers side front frame rail. I will be looking for some experienced help there from you guys, I'm hoping I only need a cap , any good tech articles out there on that task?
Tried to get the tack off the hood scoop but it was reluctant even after the screws were removed I,m thinking they may have used some adhesive of some type. Here are some pics of the little work I did, I hope to update this regularly. Also a pic of my fish on its perch overseeing the whole operation.
