Pilot bearing
I believe they all have a hole drilled in the end but it may not be the finished size for the pilot busing. If that is the case NAPA has a special thin wall pilot bushing you could use. Don't knwo what the p/n is but I am sure someone will.
The other solution is the late model truck uses a roller bearing that fits into the torque convertor register. If there is no hole at all you may have cut some of the end off the input shaft on the tranny.
