So did you have to add shims besides the spacers that we sent? Or did they work as intended? I guess they worked OK as your driving the car but need feed back for quality control, input is always best for making a product better. As no one offers these spacers and just like to follow up on parts that we make.

The only shims I used was one on each end of the rockers and used only the spacers in the middle of the rockers. Works like a champ. Popped a valve cover today and everything looks good.

Went by and got my friends 750 carb. I thought it was a Holley but it was a Eddy carb instead. Oh well. I put it on and just didn't seem to notice a great amount of difference as I thought I would have. I adjusted the idle mixture and took it down the road. It seems however that the 750 "is there" quicker than the 500 CFM. With the 750 I don't have a over rich condition so that is good for a lil 273. I can tell the way the motor runs that it shouldn't have any trouble lighting up the tires. Been raining so trying to launch the car from off the line would be no use right now. I will get cranking compression results tomorrow.
