I tried to rebuild my 2 bbl seemed easy but it leaked gas all over, when i stuck it on the car. I gave up, my car was messed up and would always die going around a corner, not starting, and didn't seem to have power, this is why i was messing with the carb today. I put what I thought to be a good carb on it but it fouled all the plugs, i then put the old one back on and now it won't stay running, i changed the plugs also. seeing that I am now out like 70$. I am just going to go buy a rebuilt carb. I am wondering if I go to the auto parts place get a new carb and 8 new plugs and throw it on will I be fine or will it still need adjustment? I don't have the 99$ an hour to pay some one to fix it.
