Well I have to pull the mill this weekend and find out what has been making the gut wrenching "TICK" . I was wondering if there are procharger kits avalible for the 340, or do you have to piece together one? I think I'm gonna go this route for the rebuilt.

Thanks

It would probably be easier using a Paxton SN 2000 kit, I deal
with 1 of the only Paxton distributors in the calif. area, and the
owner deals mostly in vintage kits . I'm sure they
can help you out. The place is Paradise Wheels in San Marcos, Calif.
I don't have a number right now I usually just go there. I've had
2 race blowers rebuilt at this facility. I think the street is Ranchero Dr.
Good Luck! 8)

yes there is a bolt on kit available from The Supercharger Store, speak to Bob there , they specialise in Procharger systems for Mopars, I have had three or four kits off them now, a great company to deal with.
If you need any pic's I have LOTS of them, good luck

The avitar pic is from cardomain.com, I have a couple of pages on there. All you have to do is right click on the image you uploaded and go to properties, highlight and copy the url address and paste it in the avitar line in your profile.

Thanks for the info. on the pro charger, currently i'm weighing the options of stroking it, charging it or a crate motor.

Thanks

depends how fast you wanna go??
A small street system is about $2600 if you can make your own brackets, I have a big 1" thick motorplate for my smallblock, but that uses the big D3 race blower.

Then you need fuel system, either a carb or fuel injection, but when you add up the costs compared to nitrous for a season the blower wins hands down, plus it's a lot kinder to the motor.
I have loads of pics of these things , if you want to see soon?
Keep in touch

man i think im going to get one of these superchargers. besides the money issue, it makes no sense not too.....pretty awsome kits.

Yikes!!!! These things are expensive! Performance gains are really big though. When i was on hold at ati procharger they had a 12 second nova that they put a procharger on and it ran a 8.62 @ 166mph on 91 octane pump gas. Thats nuts. If I had the funds ($4600) I would definatly put on on my dart. Thanks for all the info.

Mopar Mustang, Chevy they all work the same way and if you pressurize the air going in you get more BOOM inside the combustion chambers.
I just came back from a high speed blast to Home Depot in the Skyline, I'm never driving a normally aspirated car again!!
