Build me a budget 340
11's!!! A goal to shoot for! Excellent. That makes this alot easier, even more so if you have a decent gear set to deal with. You can pop in the 3.23's to go places, but another gear set is used for track/trouble causeing. It's all part of the package and balanceing of it.
For a rear end build to the 11's, S/S springs and snubber set correctly geared with 4.30's. Tires approx. 28 or less inch diameter as wide as you can get'em.
If your heads are done to 650 lift, then why would you fret on 480? The heads should be fully ported at this point I would think. Use them with the Weiand.
I have no exper. with the Weiand, but that single plane should be good enuff for 11's. Since you have it, use it.
Couple it togethger with a 10-1 or better ratio and a cam of approx; 250 duration @ .050 and big tubes headers. Lighten the car up.
This should do it.
