Whats better Manual steering or Power?

Don't forget guys, power steering (also what I have), robs roughly 11 horse power to run. Only by removing the belt you can usually pick up 2 tenths in the quarter.

I'd take manual; My current Mopar is a 1971 340 Duster with numb power.

The manual box weighs less, and of course with manual you lose the power steering pump, hoses and brackets.

Overall you save some weight off the front of the engine and off the K member.
