mini-starter

ok maybe this is a stupid question, but what should I ask for at the parts counter to get a mini-starter for my 73 /6 duster. or should I go pull one from a yard?
I haven't changed out the boat anchor yet because it's been working fine until this morning when it started making a groaning noise after I let the key off, so if I'm going to replace it I'm going to upgrade while I'm at it.
