Hughes Performance Converters, Any one run them? or Have any experience with them?

I rebuilt a 440, Its just a little hotter than stock. Same with the 727, its just a little bit beefier. Now I am looking for a converter. I have been doing alot of homework on them and was wonder how the quality of the Hughes Converters stands up against the others.
I am looking for a converter with a 2800 stall roughly, the Hughes falls in to my price range.
What do you guys think are they junk?
