qas far as the driveshaft goes, it has been my experience that you only need to shorten them when using a tranny from a C/C/E body, not another A.
as to the T_bars, what bars are you running? if theyer slant 6, then you'll probably wind up having them cranked up all the way. small block, i dont know. id say crank the adjusters tight, then lower to the desired ride height while saving for some big block t-bars.

and have you made sure before you bolt it all up that the flywheel matches the balance of the 440?
just dont want to see you eat bearings.
