Sanity check

A turbo may as well be a second engine for th trouble they can cause. They have water cooled oil fed bearings. When steam pours out the tailpipe you wont really know if its the turbo or the engine i.e. head gasket. People dont realize they can turn the engine off and be in and out of a convienence store before the turbo stops turning. It got no oil or water during that period and is bound to fail.
Thats just my concept of turbos though.
