318 build. what would you do?

sure,it wont be a torquey as a 340-360 or stroker motor, but will be fun in a light car.You need 302 casting heads!Dont care what peeps say,i can speak from experience.Keep the valves size stock, get good valve job.If you cant find any near you, there are always some on here at good deals, like 100.00.Get you some kb 167 pistons.Even if you cant afford to get the block decked for zero deck height, the closed chamber 302 heads will keep the compression up.I also use the mopar performance .029 thin gaskets.Get a mild cam, with around 225 duration,a split pattern works better with no port work done to the heads.Edelbrock performer intake,650 carb, headers, good exhaust, with hpipe,2500 stall, and your gears, youll be moving out pretty good for cheap
