Naaaa, thier not really that bad. Some of um clear up real nice if we dont git any rain for a while. Gotta admit tha nicest ones are up in tha hill country generally around Austin and vacinity. There's numerous lakes spread out in all directions from there. Lots of rock up through that area. Its perdy!!! We hope to retire up that way. (I guess we all have our own dreams) I've been to colorfull Colorado. I've seen some of your small lakes and streams/rivers. Hope this is right ..... Ole Habor Lake, Mirror Lake, even rode the Old Durango mine train. Beautiful places!!! So I aint buyin your muddy stream story. Saw too many during the summer that were crystal clear. And Cold too!!! We're talkin instant shrinkage here. LOL.
