A body Exhaust manifolds

I've tried the Header route, and didn't care much for the fit. And would rather use the manifolds to try and keep somewhat of stock appearance. I'm using my stock 273 manifolds, on what is now a 408ci.. Just looking for better flow.

I would think that even the 340 manifolds would be restrictive for a 408. I ran across this article some while back, before I bought my Spitfires.

Maybe it's a possible solution for you. Seems to me that manifolds factory spec for 360 c.i. would be more free flowing than those spec for even 340s, and especially for the contortions the early V-8 driver side manifold was put through.

I did see one post "somewhere" that said the Dak/Durango manis didn't work. I remember asking the poster for more specifics and got no reply.

IIRC, I was making what seemed like good progress with Harold at Spitfire on the phone, so I kept at that rather than trying Lars' approach.
