bye slant six, hello 318

what i want out of my car is a good daily driver i have the 318 it is rebuild so i mostly will be going with the 318. i know the /6 can be a good power plant for power i have seen one but there is a lot of parts you have to get to get them that high up. so i think a 318 will be just fine with me :burnout: i think everyone do have point on what i should do. so now i need to start looking for parts for it when i bought the engine it can with a 904 it also have the kick down linkage with it also what would be a good carb for that engine i want a 2 barrel one, maybe down the road i could go with 4 barrel but the way gas is going i think i will wait where can i get speedo gear also should i buy a new trans or just get a rebuild the less money i have to spend the better

I would agree with you and stick with the 318. Though if the car was a current daily driver, I wouldn't even bother swaping out the /6 for the 318. But because you already have all the parts...GO FOR IT!

I can't help you about the carb part.

I also can't help out with the trans...I would go with 4spd :burnout:
all my cars are 4 spds.
But that doesn't sound like its in the cards
