Video: My Car Runs

More modern would be something that takes advantage of the Mopar .904 lifter diameter. Something with a much faster rate of lift then the old Mopar cams. Ultrdyne, Lunati Voodoo cams, CompCams XE series or a StraightLine Perf. Cam all have a much greater lift for a given duration then the old Mopar Cams.

As an example My car is getting a Comp Cams XE274H its 230/237* @.050" and 480/498" with 1.5 rockers or 503/523" with 1.6 rockers.

The Mopar 284 is 243 .050" and only .484" More duration and less lift then the newer cams. The Mopar 508" cam is rated at 248* @.050" but if you measure it, its closer to 254* @.050" that cam is going to start to build power till about 4000 rpms.

I'll be running 3.91s, low gear set 904 around 3500 rpm stall in my car with a 28" tall tire. I'm only shooting for mid 12s. I think high 11s with a 340 is going to need alot more gear and converter then would be considered streetable for most.
