im discusted with old guy purists

These type of guys (purists) need to go to an automotive museum if they want to see "perfect" restorations. Or maybe car shows, even then many cars have upgrades. Sh*t, people upgrade new cars too. The old 50's customs were a big deal in their days. Everybody loved the customs. I don't think too many purists complained about those.

Anyways, I don't have a problem with guys with rare cars for trailering them, or preserving them. That's their thing.

The majority of us want to drive them, & build them/improve them to our own taste. I know I take a chance driving mine, but that's why it's insured. I enjoy driving a car you don't see every day. Nothing like an old Mopar.
