1970 DUSTER 440 4spd 8 3/4 posi

Hey guys, thanks for the comments

Howco4, If I had to do body work, I would be way behind. Your car looks good though. You should keep just one post under member restorations, that way you can look back at it from start to finish. It's kinda cool for me to go back to page one, and see where I was a month or so ago.

Dfnsmn34, I have upgraded the brakes on the front from small bolt drumb to big bolt disc. I have heard that it is almost imposible to run power stearing and power brakes on a 440 in a A body, SO they are left with manual , but I can allways change that down the road.

AS far as a burnout goes.....yeah there might be a few, but I really don't know anything about the engine, nor who built it, or the credibility behind the builder. So I will prob take it easy for the first couple hundred miles. Once I am sure things won't go BOOM, then I will put the foot to it.

I have allready decided that I may change the Cam in the winter. It is a crane cam, but nothing special. I am hoping that when the time comes, I can just take it out through my grill opening. that way I don't have to re/re the engine.

I will be working on it this afternoon. Hoping to get the fuel lines done. I was able to barrow a flaring kit from a freind.

Thanks again for looking guys. :)
