I was going to get back with you on this but I got busy.

I would have to agree with you on it coming from the interior. Just guessing but do you think it has something to do with the vent box assembly? The door that closes and opens has came loose on my car and I took the rod out a while back because it was just flopping around.

Sorry about the delay. Been too busy to get back on the forum... I don't think it came from the left side door but it could be from around the heater box where the cables connect or the back of the control panel. If it were larger I'd say it was the spring from the accelerator pedal.
