Thanks : ) I see pentastar parts makes a 300 hp slant 6 how do they do that? I know one guy I posted has a blower kit on his but with no blower kit thats insane they can get that much power.
That was Romeo Furio's engine. Custom rods, pistons, etc. (cast crank, though!). Romeo posts over on .org sometimes, seems to be quite the slanter. You may have seen his Duster in one of the magazines ("Dust'ya"), but it was small-block powered. Nice car.
Anyway, I don't completely trust magazine results. A good, well-built slant can get well into the low 200's at the crank. You need a power adder to go much more, but (fortunately) slants respond very well to power adders...
There's a thread over on .org about a long rod and piston package. With the right compression and cam, THAT might get someone close to 300 NA.
