1971 Duster 340 - #'s Matching Project (Central IL)
Almost forgot one thing..
When I removed the vinyl top (factory, never replaced), there was an area of bondo above the driver's door opening (you can see the spot on the picture below). I ground all the bondo out and found a very crude metal "repair" done with screws and a slide hammer. When the interior was removed, in the roof crossmember I found a folded up "Return To Line" form, filled out but I have no clue what anything on it means. I can't help but assume the roof was damaged on the line and it was sent back to be fixed since this was all under the factory vinyl top. I thought I had a picture of the area after the filler was removed but I can't seem to find it, all I have is what's below..
