Thanks. I wont be to fake. As I plan to go to the crossram and 2 fours later just like a stock 426 Max Wedge. It will just be a few more cubes but I like the stock factory look. And its to hard to find a 426 now a days and the 440 looks just like it. Ron

Very Nice!
It's your car and you do what you want, I'd rather see it Cloned than full of Chinese junk engine parts....Keep it Made in America even if you make it yourself.

My trannie mount was made in Korea

very nice valve covers too

Thanks all ! I just like the stock factory muscle car look. And here is a stock 426 Max Wedge in a 63 Ply. Its to hard to find a 426 and the 440 looks the same so why not go for the look is what I say. Its not an original Max Wedge as its a 383 car. But then again my sons Dart is not an original 383 car. So if I cant afford an original I build my own ! Ron

yup, like most of the nice cars these days are clones anyway, we cant all go on a bidding frenzy at barret-jackson for an original max wedge car. I think that motor would look cool in a 67-69 Barracuda or Dart body, with kinda like a Hemi S/S factory look, as if they offered the 426 max wedges in the 67-69 body styles, besides just the hemi cars of '68. the poor mans answer to the hemi!

Looks really cool! I have a couple of 4 bolt cover that I'll use to do something similar. Nice!!

I think your car will look real cool with the max wedge set up. Most of us can't afford to get the real thing anymore, might as well make your own. No one can see whats inside your engine and the normal person won't be able to tell the difference between a 426 or a 440.

Hi Ron , I love the stock look also . Those valve covers with that sticker on them just screams -- watch out -- My brother is building a 440 right now for his 63 Dodge that is going to be a Max Wedge clone . It is a 440 also ,like you said 426 blocks are impossible to find . He does have a set of origional Max Wedge heads for it though. (they were not cheap ) He has everything but the intake and carbs now. So if anyone knows of a orig intake , keep me posted.
