Progress on my 340 Hood Scoops!

I've been thinking/wanting for a long time to put the twin scoops on my 71 Duster.

First questions is what repro's are good and bad?

Second I know its mostly cosmetic but I can't imagine it wouldn;t help with under hood temps, yes or no?

Any rain issues? I'd figured of making foam plugs for when I was caught in the rain

I have a 70 Dart. The scoops are original. I don't know how much they help with under hood temps. But it could not hurt any. The rubber seals are long gone on my car but I have never had a problem with rain at all. And that is with me taking the silencers/baffels out of the air filter.

There is room to go bigger than 4" holes in the hood. I have been thinking of getting a glass hood and drilling the hools all the way to the hood suport.
