1971 Dart GT, Do They Exist?

Wont the second letter of the vin be a P someone correct me if i am wrong. That is the way it is on my 69 dart gt The vin starts off LP23 if it is the same in 71 i dont know though but i would check the vin and starts out the same way The P stood for premium package and the gt option was the premium trim package for the darts i believe.
